Embracing Imperfection Workshop
Brought to you by Notedd, Embracing Imperfection workshop is a 90-minute interactive, virtual event featuring Stop Waiting For Perfect: Step Out of Your Comfort Zone and into Your Power author and award-winning journalist L'Oreal Thompson Payton and certified mindset + leadership coach Sam Cartagena.
Through a live discussion, Q&A, and one-on-one coaching, this workshop will help attendees understand the effects of the harmful effects of perfectionism and how perfectionism can hold them back from reaching their full potential and being comfortable with themselves.
L'Oreal and Sam will share their personal perfectionism stories and experiences, while providing tips and practices that guide participants into redefining their own definitions of success and practices focused on compassion and acceptance to incorporate into daily routines.
Cultivating Gratitude and Joy Workshop with LaDonna Welch

Week of Well-Being
Each day will feature a special guest speaker and a unique event including a breathwork session, a discussion on the connection between affirmations and our well-being, a chat on the importance of the six dimensions of wellness, an opportunity to work on our physical well-being with a power workout, and a walk through best practices to update our space with positive energy.

We’re excited to chat with Dr. Charmine Davis, founder and CEO of Just Us app. This Thursday, July 22 at 7 PM EST / 4 PM PST, we’ll learn about Dr. Charmine’s journey developing a social impact app that provides safe support for Black drivers interacting with the police.

About Dr. Charmine Davis
Charmine Davis is the Director of behavioral health services at the nationally recognized Jenesse Center offering comprehensive support to victims of domestic violence and their children. With over 25 years of unyielding commitment to serving families in Southern California, Charmine continues to make her mark as an accompanied community leader. She is currently training at the South Central Training Consortium servicing the un-attended to mental health and clinical counseling needs of diverse populations around Los Angeles.
As an impact visionary, her academic achievements are just as impressive. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in African American Family Studies. She obtained her doctorate degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Charmine is on a mission to create social change. She created the Just Us app to help prevent police brutality. She continues to foster this commitment as a professional member of the following organizations: Los Angeles County Psychological Association, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist, and the Association of Black Psychologist.

She has had an extensive corporate career in both Retail and Healthcare. However, her passion lies in helping others reach their personal health and performance goals.
As a Nutrition Coach for more than 15 years, Arnetra has been able to advise a diverse range of clients. She has assisted men and women wanting to improve their overall health, those seeking to lose weight, recreational athletes looking to improve their performance and physique, to individuals whose profession revolves around being in top physical condition, to living in front of the camera.
Her Mission is to help clients reach their goals through behavior modification while establishing a realistic relationship with food. The objective is teaching others how to achieve the health and physique they aspire to have, while eating in a sustainable way for a lifetime.

She has previously managed entertainment marketing campaigns for clients in the Mobile Technology, Fashion-Tech, and Consumer Packaged Goods industries, and has organized events in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, The Hollywood and Highland Center, Air B&B, and United Negro College Fund.
