Meet the Founder/CEO
Lauren Strayhorn
Lauren Strayhorn is a strategist, community-builder, and the founder of Notedd — a platform that helps coaches and entrepreneurs grow thriving, engaged communities that drive momentum, visibility, and long-term growth.
With over a decade of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and community management, Lauren has led campaigns for top brands like Nestlé Toll House, Clorox, and DoorDash, while also supporting founders through workshops and strategy sessions that turn content chaos into clarity. Her signature frameworks help reduce burnout and build meaningful engagement across newsletters, social platforms, and online communities.
Lauren’s work began in media, with a curated newsletter that grew into a referral network and community of over 1,000 Black women entrepreneurs. Today, she brings that same intentionality to helping purpose-driven business owners build communities that sustain momentum and deepen trust — and she partners with organizations to design inclusive, community-first strategies for accelerators, mentorship programs, and supplier initiatives.
She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Katie Couric Media, and Joanne Lipman’s Next!, and served as a featured moderator at the 2024 Essence Festival of Culture. A proud graduate of Spelman College and Georgetown University, Lauren is passionate about helping founders grow with clarity, confidence, and community.
